Support us
In order to help us continue to grow and thrive we are looking for SUPPORTERS who would like to help us raise some funds that we could use for buying seeds, tools and insurance for our land-tending activities and for maintaining a website. Funds will help us continue offering a space on the land for community to gather to regenerate the meadow, learn and benefit from nature-connection workshops and other ecological awareness events.
“Coming to the meadow and being part of a team who are nurturing and caring for the natural world is an incredibly rewarding and healing experience. There’s always something new going on – new wildflowers have popped up in the labyrinth, the resident slow worm has changed position slightly, the water lily is in full bloom – it all makes for a fun family day out and a rewarding experience throughout the year to keep returning. I encourage everyone to take part in this wonderful community. Please give what you can and see you on the meadow!” – Andy Narracott, Norwich
We are inviting you to expand your generosity with either a regular monthly donation to Ecotherapy East, or a one-off amount.
Suggested monthly amounts are (click appropriate link to setup payment):
Or here to make a regular annual donation
Or click here to make a one time donation
In return we would like to keep you updated with our activities and invite you to enjoy the beauty of the meadow on our regular land care days and an annual picnic to celebrate the beauty of the meadow and the work we have done in the community. There is also the opportunity to sit around the fire, break bread together and sing, as well as sleeping under the stars and waking up to a chorus of birds.
We believe that by carefully tending the plants, paying attention to the wonders of the natural world and immersing ourselves in the environment, we are supporting life on earth and honouring all the billions of years of evolution that brought us here. Supporting our community offers you this opportunity, in community with others.
We would also welcome any offers to organise a fundraising activity for the benefit of Ecotherapy East’s land-tending work. Please get in touch.
Thank you!

Our story of regeneration so far
In the last three years we have been able to plant and tend over 500 native trees. Most of them will grow into hedges to serve as habitat for wildlife and will help delineate the land and create privacy for our therapeutic work. We have also planted several groves of trees and we care for existing hedgerows. We have created log piles, bug hotels and other refuge for wildlife. We look after a seasonal pond which is growing in biodiversity. We have been building our land care skills by using scythes to cut the meadow grasses to promote a more biodiverse grassland and to reduce the use of machinery. We have planted several patches of wildflowers and have seen these spread each year. We are monitoring and documenting the species on the meadow. Recently we registered with Suffolk Wildlife Trust as a Private Nature Reserve.
We created a wild flower labyrinth and a tree circle, for participants of our nature-connection and therapy work to enjoy. We have exciting plans to share the joys of the meadow with a wider community: an open morning for the village community, a community orchard, botanical walks, nature storytelling among other ideas. We are now offering half-day nature-connection workshops and hope to run longer ones and courses once we obtain planning permission.
