    Foxtail Meadow, Bramfield, Suffolk

£42 each (limited to 6 participants)

A half-day experiential therapeutic workshop combining aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), ecotherapy, movement and creativity. Led by an experienced IFS therapist, facilitator and founder of EcotherapyEast Sebastiana Black.

« Loved the warmth and intimacy of being in a small group while being given the space to concentrate my explorations on myself. Highly recommend this to anyone considering getting to know themselves better. The emphasis on embodied practice brought out parts so naturally and spontaneously that I now can’t imagine a more effective way of leaning into IFS» participant IFS

    in Nature, 2025

There is a wise, open space within you, an open-hearted presence and inner knowing —like deep roots in a living meadow—that can meet every part of you with curiosity and compassion, just as you are, and listen for what is truly need. In this workshop, you’ll be guided to meet your inner world through movement, creativity, and deep connection with nature—supported by your compassionate Self, the group, and the living presence of the meadow.

You will begin to befriend your inner family of Parts—your ways of thinking, feeling, and responding—through embodied and creative explorations. As they arise in your body and within the group, you’ll discover with curiosity and care what they need to stay connected to your true Self and to others.

Through simple yet powerful processes, you’ll be invited to reconnect with your authentic Self, welcome all that you are, and gently weave together your thoughts, feelings, and sensations in relationship with the Earth and the more-than-human world on the meadow.

As understanding deepens, space opens for healing, clarity, and self-acceptance. As your parts soften, their natural gifts can emerge, supporting a growing sense of wholeness and connection to Self and Soul.

    The workshop will include:

    • Establishing a courageous and safe space where all parts are welcome.
    • Noticing, turning towards, and learning to understand your parts and find new ways of relating and speaking for them.
    • IFS-informed and nature-based meditations.
    • Exploring parts through image and mark-making, movement, sound, embodied nature connection, writing, and shared reflection.
    • Embodying and inviting qualities of your authentic creative Self through nature connection, movement, sound, and poetry.
    • Exploring your inner ecosystem using the IFS map of parts.
    • Reverential and contemplative time on and with the meadow, including land-labyrinth walking.
    • Time outdoors to find symbols and expressions for your inner experience.
    • Inviting a sense of interconnectedness with the natural world through the senses and imagination.
    • Connecting with, listening to crack willow, pond, oaks, black poplar, ash, butterflies, insects, Foxtail and Yorkshire Fog grasses, buttercups and many
      beautiful others.
    • A mix of individual, pair, and group work.
    • Gratitude practices and closing appreciations
    • All practices are offered as invitations, with choice and self-pacing
      encouraged throughout.

«A wonderful opportunity to identify and understand the parts of me, how they work individually and together, to value and appreciate them, and live with them harmoniously. Partnering with and experiencing nature as a metaphor for the internal ecology of ourselves was enlightening. The reflecting and learning has continued beyond the time spent in the workshop.» participant at IFS in Nature, 2026
